Game of the week: Niche by Playful Oasis

"Niche - a genetics survival game is a turn-based strategy game combined with simulation and roguelike elements. Shape your own species of animals based on real genetics. Keep your species alive against all odds, such as predators, climate change and spreading sickness."

I've been wanting to play this game for a long time. Help me make some new species and protect them from climate change, yeah?

See you in a few!

Book I'm reading this weekThe Secret Commonwealth by Philip Pullman

"The second volume of Sir Philip Pullman's The Book of Dust sees Lyra, now twenty years old, and her daemon Pantalaimon, forced to navigate their relationship in a way they could never have imagined, and drawn into the complex and dangerous factions of a world that they had no idea existed.

Pulled along on his own journey too is Malcolm; once a boy with a boat and a mission to save a baby from the flood, now a man with a strong sense of duty and a desire to do what is right."

This sucked. The direction of this series sucks. I am so, so, so bummed.

So far, I've read 19 of my 52 books for the year and I've been depressed for a few days about the Philip Pullman book.
